This thread made me lol, you need the ursans to kill stuff and they need you to heal them, And if you are doing DoA/UW/FoW you are making plenty more then 1k. Deal with it.
EDIT: OMFG, CRAZY IDEA!, don't do ursan runs. OMFG WAS'NT THAT BRILLIANT!

half of all the people their heroes aren't good
some people invest money in hero armor with runes and other equipment for optimal function
that's why i don't need real monks cuz mine are perfectly geared up

To the OP.........Sabway+Heroes owns any HB monk, yesterday I was a low rank and no one wanted me in there group, a Guildie and I did the run without dying or losing a hero, I will never pay a monk........and when I play monk I don't charge.

I don't see why monks should have to pay for the team's consumables. In fact, if the team went without a monk, they'd be using more consumables to make up for the fact that they're not being healed. If anything, the Monks in the party are subtracting from the needed cost to buy consumables for that trip.

I'm not familiar with all this charging other party members 1k per consumable set since I been outa the game lately.. but seriously? Why would you bother bein' upset about blowin' a measly 1k per consumable set when you're a monk? Monks are insanely rich. My monk made all my other characters rich as well. Stop bein' a spoiled monk, man. I know you like money but just don't take it so far otherwise it ends up in you acting up and making a thread like this one.

Good luck with your strike. Just please hold it somewhere out of the way where all QQers can have plenty of room to roam around without subjecting other players to the nonsense. May I suggest the Hengeof Denravi? It's very big, a lovely setting, and you won't have to share space with non-striking people. (more room for y'all!)

If you're to cheap to contribute a measely 1k to the person who took the time to go out and farm/buy the materials to get a con set, you should just go back to n00b island or pre-searing and hang out there where 1K IS quite a good chunk of change, instead of hanging out in places where you can get 1k in about 5 minutes!

What I would go on strike for is Ursans blaming the monks when they die! It's ridiculous for them to expect 2 monks to heal them after they aggro'd 20 ice imps. They all run around aggroing EVERYTHING in sight, it's hard when you have 6 leeroys in your team, then when they run too far from us and die they shout "OMG NUB M0NKZ!!11!"

Also, in ToA i always find that there seem to be many more HB monks LFP than Ursans

being a monk myself, i wouldnt see a big deal with paying 1k OMG 1k OMG!!!!! considering as a monk u can find a group in a second and ursans sometimes spend 15minutes finding a group, o btw its 1K!!!!!!! QQ?????

lol most ursan groups are corrupt anyways.
I just ran an imbagon and synergize with my heroes when doing a mission. Then when I am done I pm the ursan group if they completed the mission because I did, and if they didn't, I would laugh at them out of pure spite.

Its not that ursan teams are bad. Its that the community in general needs a buff towards maturity attribute points, lol.

Lol you are either really bad at reading , or dense. It is not the 1k, it is the point. (if you took the time to read OP, or any other post, you would comprehend my statement).

Plain out, we DONT need con sets. If they make you happy, use them, but don't "expect payment". I'll gladly donate 1k, IF the group is sucking big, and truly needs the boost.

Technically all the area's are beatable with ease, w/o con sets. Even just as easy as w/ sets, if you got 2 decent monks, and ursans who don't aggro the entire radar O_o.

If every ursan did their job properly, Essence would be the only thing included in the set. There should be no need for increased health, as:
A) ursan does that already
B) you should be keeping the mobs away from the monks in the first place.

OP (and others of a similiar bent), you have a choice:
1) Advertise your monking services as *specifically* only for groups that don't use consets, and then you don't have to worry about them
2) Accept that consets will be a part of the run (and that you'll beneft from them too) and pay your share of the costs
3) Make your own group, and GLFM with your own rules and make a group you're happy with
4) Don't group. H&H the area yourself.

Everyone should bring something (in terms of ability) to a group, otherwise they're just being 'run' through an area/mission/whatever. If you're being run, you pay the runner. If you're planning to be an active part of the group, you all pitch in.

By saying you 'deserve' to be paid to join a group, you take the stance of a runner, and that just won't wash. I'm not saying CareBears have a tough job, but if they don't do that job then nothing's going to happen with your run. You need each other - that's kinda what having a group is all about, y'know?

Hmm things sure have changed since I last ursan'd doa. Back then every ursan had to have a conset (and show it) plus show their lb and norn titles, before they could get in. Monks didn't supply consets. So now its different? Eh, you can always go back to ursan if you don't wanna play monk.

Anyways it's PvE nobody cares if you need to pay 1k to get over 3k from drops. It's the same as UW.

be a part of the team. you couldn't beat DoA without someone killing everything and they couldn't beat it without someone healing them. so if everyone else in the team is paying, you pay too or get another group. being an HB is not very difficult so stop whining about doing it. better yet, bring your own damn conset and charge everyone 1k.

you do realise that WITHOUT the ursans, you wont be able to do DOA, unless you go with a guildie and heros (or go do that 3 man farm thing)?

And that 1k isn't that much ?

And that you aren't paying him anything, your paying the price of the conset. If you don't want to pay, then say you don't need a conset.

Aside from that, that alot of monks -leave- when it gets to hot, and that that 1k works as some sort of insurance?

Srsly though....
Its a team effort. if the monks didnt heal, the ursans would die. if the ursans didnt kill, monks would die. If it werent for the cons, they'd all fail. Stop the QQ and pay up or go back to non-elite areas.
